Just like in the real world, in The Sims 4 Woohoo is a big part of your sim’s lives. They have numerous woohoo locations to explore and can woohoo with any sim they want. However, there are certain aspect of the woohoo situation in The Sims 4 that just isn’t perfect, so there are certain mods that can change the way certain aspects of woohoo work. You’ll see mods in this list for pregnancy, trying for baby, and so much more that all tie back to the woohoo system in the game.
1. Autonomous Romantic Interactions
The Sims 3 Child Woohoo Mod
With The Sims 3 mod I would turn the standard woohoo interaction into a risky woohoo with something like a 25% chance of pregnancy. Definately would like this feature again. SpidersWeb Posts: 1,027. The Sims 4 Wicked Woohoo Mod The sims 4 is rated PG-13, so everything in the game comes with some sort of restrictions. For example, you can just woohoo on your bed, or sometimes a sofa, which sometimes kills the mood. The modding community of the sims 4, take this very seriously and provides us with the Wicked Woohoo mod.
Although not directly related to woohoo, I knew a lot of people searching for woohoo mods would be interested in this mod as well so we added it. The autonomous romantic interactions mod will have your sims getting proposed to, broken up with, and even has the ability for your sims to be in polygamous relationships. I love this mod because sometimes you just want things to happen to your sims, instead of having to make every decision for them.
2. Babies for Everyone
With the babies for everyone mod you are able to have babies with, well… everyone! This means that you can have lesbian couples getting pregnant, gay couples getting pregnant, elders getting pregnant and more. This really opens up the family planning world in the game and makes having LGBT couples much more fun in the game.

3. Baby Maker Trait
If you want a sim to have a ton of children in the game, the baby maker trait may be the answer to your prayers! This trait is pretty funny and will have your sims feeling flirty often but not really enjoying commitment.
This trait has a description that reads “Babies, Babies, Babies! Can’t get enough of them. This sim wants lots of children. They are flirty very often and have many ‘baby mamas’ or ‘baby daddys’ to give them children. Commitment issues are possible if their significant other doesn’t give them enough children. Babies make the world go round!”
4. Be Romantic Despite Mood
When you’re playing The Sims 4, you are kind of stuck dealing with the annoying emotions system and sometimes when you want to woohoo your sims aren’t feeling it. The be romantic despite mood mod will allow your sims to perform romantic interactions (including woohoo) even if they are feeling sad, angry, or embarrassed making it easier to woohoo with your sims!
5. Cycle – Menstruation and Fertility
The woohoo system in The Sims 4 really isn’t realistic, so a mod like cycle – menstruation and fertility adds a ton of realism. This mod adds a menstrual cycle to your sims, which is something that tons of people deal with and makes the game feel real. You’ll also see the addition of different sorts of contraceptives like birth control which is very realistic.
There is even a pregnancy test that your sims can take that is a physical object instead of just clicking on the toilet. The most interesting part of this is that it will be a bit harder for your sims to have a baby.
6. Ghosts Can Have Babies
If you’ve played with ghosts in The Sims 4 you’ve probably noticed that you aren’t able to have a baby which is realistic but kind of annoying. The ghosts can have babies mod makes it so that you can have babies with any ghost in your game, and ghosts are able to get pregnant. However, this doesn’t create ghost babies it just results in regular ones.
7. Hoe It Up
The hoe it up modadds a ton of NSFW content to your game. You’ll be able to gain two skills, prostitution and pole dancing so that tells you pretty much everything you need to know about this mod. Your sims are going to be able to go and earn money by hoeing it up which is a fun mix up in the game.
8. Less Success for Try for Baby
There is an extremely high (80%) success rate when you try for baby in the game, which is just to high. The less success for try for baby mod allows you to go in and adjust these numbers to either 20%, 40% or 60%. This is awesome because you can mix it up and make it however high you want, instead of it just being the default from the game.
9. Make Love, Not Woohoo
An issue that a lot of players have with The Sims 4 is the word woohoo in itself. They believe that the game should reflect real life in all ways and have real life words instead of woohoo. You’ll see the word woohoo switched out with either have sex or make love in all instances in the game if you don’t enjoy the word woohoo.
10. MC Command Center
If you know anything about mods in The Sims 4, you should know that MC Command Center is just a must have mod to begin with. This mod allows you to completely control so many parts of the game, and there is an entire section for MC Woohoo and MC Pregnancy. The types of things you can see is polygamy, autonomous try for baby, risky woohoo percentage changes, and so much more. There are so many aspects to this mod that make it a necessity in the game.
11. No Mosaic/Censor
A lot of simmers just want the game to feel more real, and have less aspects that feel cartoony. The no mosaic/censor mod includes the pixilation or censor that is placed on any sim when they are showering, going to the bathroom, breastfeeding and more. This is a simple mod that a lot of players really swear by for making it feel more real.
12. No Sleep After Woohoo
Any time that you have two sims woohoo in The Sims 4 (in a bed) they are immediately going to fall asleep which isn’t realistic in all situations. Plus, if they are woohooing in the middle of the day it can just mess up their energy need and sleep schedule for the night. The no sleep after woohoo mod makes it so that your sims won’t go straight to sleep by default after they woohoo, a simple change, but it does change something that has always annoyed me.
13. Passionate Romance
The Sims 3 Woohoo Mod Download
Wanting your sims to woohoo all starts with romance and flirting, and the passionate romance mod will make the process of getting to woohoo way more fun. This mod adds simple things that I’ve missed so much in The Sims 4 like some old interactions like goose, snuggle, and make out which were all options in The Sims 2. It also allows you to take romantic selfies with your significant other.
14. Pillow Talk
As we discussed earlier, the default after woohoo in a double bed in the game is for your sims to just go to sleep and not talk to each other or cuddle at all. The pillow talk mod will give you a few new interactions for your sims to do while sitting in bed after woohoo making it a much more realistic and fun experience for your sims to bond.
15. Plain Interactive Woohoo Bushes
The woohoo bushes that we have gotten in various packs in the game are a really fun idea, but all of them have some kind of ugly flower on them that makes them way less useable than we would like them to be. Theplain interactive woohoo bushesmod adds a few versions of these bushes that are plain so they can fit seamlessly into your landscaping without standing out like a sore thumb.
16. Pregnancy Mega Mod
The pregnancy mega modadds so many incredible changes to the way that pregnancy functions in the game and just makes you want to have more pregnancies in The Sims 4. In this mod you’ll be able to have same sex pregnancy, teen pregnancy and even the chance of a miscarriage which is an entirely real thing that happens to women all the time, but isn’t represented in The Sims.
17. Risky Woohoo
In the real world, you are never making a conscious decision between just woohoo and try for baby, there is always a chance of you getting pregnant. The risky woohoo mod makes this a thing in the sims too. In addition to allowing you to have risky woohoo, you can also have fertility levels, pregnancy difficulties and more.
18. Same Sex Pregnancy Mod
The same sex pregnancy mod allows you to have marriages between two sims of the same sex. This means you can have pregnancy between gay and lesbian couples in the game without only having the option to adopt or cheat on your spouse.
19. Shower Woohoo Tweaks
When we first got shower woohoo in the game, your sims would get into the shower fully clothed which was… weird. Then, we got the sims changing into towels, okay, better but still unrealistic. The shower woohoo tweaks mod will let you have sims spinning out of their clothes and being nude before they pop into the shower to woohoo, making it way more realistic than jumping from clothes to a towel to the shower to clothes.
20. Simda
It can be really hard for you to find other sims to woohoo with in The Sims 4 and the Simda Dating App mod will definitely help you streamline that process and find a whole new pool of woohoo candidates. With this mod you are able to go on blind dates, specific dates, or even just choose to have a one night stand which is an awesome option if you’re just looking for some woohoo fun.
21. Teen/Adult Mess Around
This mod was one I wasn’t sure if I should include, but a lot of players seem to want this type of content. I just don’t know how I feel about teens and adults messing around in game. This mod will allow you to have your teenage sims doing romantic interactions with your young adult or adult aged sims which can be used in storytelling for sure.
22. Wicked Whims
Thewicked whims mod is probably the most popular and most well known NSFW mods for The Sims 4. With this mod you’ll have changes to how woohoo works, nudity, pubic hair, strip clubs and so much more. This mod has so many interesting aspects to it that it can’t be easily summarized here, you just have to see it for yourself.
23. Wonderful Whims
The creator of wicked whims realized that a lot of simmers really want access to some parts of that mod, without all of the NSFW content so they decided to create wonderful whims. This mod includes the attraction system, impressions, and a ton of other safe for work items that people loved from their first mod.
24. Woohoo Acceptance Animations Replaced
For a lot of players, they may not understand the need for a mod like this, but when I saw it I was so excited. When two sims decide to woohoo together, they will literally stand there and shake their hands and look like they just got a good deal on a pair of shoes, not like they are about to woohoo. It is such a weird choice by EA and just not the animation you’d expect to see. The woohoo acceptance animations replaced mod will switch those weird animations out for flirty or romance animations making it feel way less weird.
25. Woohoo Interaction Hider
The woohoo interaction hider is an interesting mod that you may enjoy. The purpose of this mod is to completely hide the option for woohoo if you’re sim is in specific moods. There are a few different versions, with the most strict being that your sims are only able to woohoo if they are feeling flirty.
26. Woohoo Lover Trait
Traits are such simple mods that can make your sims feel so much more real in the game. The woohoo lover custom trait is a great option if you have a sim who absolutely loves to participate in the art of woohoo. The trait’s description is simple and says “This sim loves to woohoo with other sims” which tells you everything you need to know.
27. Woohoo is Exercise
The final mod on this list is the woohoo is exercise mod and this one just makes sense. As it stands in the game, woohoo has no effect on your sims fitness or weight and that just isn’t how it works in real life. This mod allows your sims to go ahead and get some exercise to lose weight and gain muscle while woohooing.
Final Thoughts
These mods are so fun and chance such small aspects of woohoo but somehow have a lasting impact on it. It really does make the game feel totally different when you are woohooing and just makes me very happy. The changes to pregnancy are great too! Happy Playing!

20. Realistic Reactions
Have you ever been cheated on?
Hopefully not, but let me tell you it isn’t chill.
For this reason I always found it unrealistic that sims would just get angry at their cheating spouse for a little bit before returning to normal, at least whenever infidelity was actually discovered.
Creator Scaldwellhu agrees. And they made a mod to make cheating as big a deal as it usually is in real life.
Now couples will be devastated by the event, and it’ll take a lot of work to get things back in order. Even the kids will feel upset when their parents are in this situation!
19. Miscarriage Chance
Pregnancy is a beautiful process. But sometimes there are complications, and that’s just a fact of life.
This mod by LittleMsSam introduces a slight chance that one morning, a pregnant Sim may wake up with cramps and abdominal pain, prompting them to go to the hospital.
While sometimes they’ll come back with a healthy baby and make everyone in the household relieved, more often than not they’ll return with dark news despite the doctor’s best efforts.
It’s sad, it’s dark, and it’s incredibly realistic.
Now on the flip side, if you want pregnancy custom content that’s a bit more light-hearted take a peek at our pregnancy mods list. Not as much realism, but a whole lotta fun in there.
18. Pregnancy Overhaul Mod
Creator LittleMsSam doesn’t just want to put a damper on your reproductive fun.
She just strives for realism, which we can find in her Pregnancy Overhaul Mod.
Not only does it replace the absurd pregnant belly size found in vanilla for something more anatomically correct, but it removes the exaggerated pregnant walking animation as well.
It also lets expecting sims continue practicing yoga, swimming, and other such activities up to the beginning of their third trimester, as is normal for would-be-moms in real life(which I had to Google to confirm, I mean I’ve never been pregnant so…)
17. Risky Woohoo & Try For Baby Chances
Normally you can actively choose whether you want a sim to have safe Woohoo with a partner, or outright try for a baby and get them pregnant.
But that’s not quite how it works in real life.
Modder PolarBearSims came up with some tweaks to make the Woohoo experience more immersive by replacing it with Risky Woohoo, and implementing a complex fertility system affecting all sims.
Depending on their fertility levels, location of the encounter, and some other factors, some sims will have more of a chance of becoming pregnant accidentally than others. Sims may also become infertile, requiring them to get fertility treatments to actually get pregnant. If that isn’t real, I don’t know what is.
16. More Best Friends
I’ve never been able to give a definitive answer when someone asks who my best friend is.
I would never be able to pick just one. They’re all key parts of my life!
Thanks to creator LittleMsSam, your sims won’t have to pick just one either.
Now the “become best friends” interaction will have a 30-minute cooldown rather than a one-time use, allowing you to create inseparable squads of Sim besties.
15. SNB – Sim National Bank
The way money and bills work in The Sims 4 is pretty basic for a game made for simulating human life.
Sim National Bank by SimRealist is an in-depth mod that endeavors to overhaul the financial system in TS4, letting sims manage bank accounts, take out loans, pay their bills individually, and so on.
Quite honestly, this is one of the most realism-enhancing mods I’ve ever seen.
But only the most hardcore players will actually have fun introducing accounting into their sim lives, which is why I don’t place it higher in this ranking.
But let it be known, this mod is exceptionally realistic.
14. Personality Please!
The Sims 3 Woohoo Animation Mods
Sims are notoriously less complicated than humans. They take life one day at a time and often choose what feels right in the moment, rather than what makes sense in the long run.
Personality Please! by PolarBearSims is a mostly romance-centric rework that makes Sims considerably less promiscuous by making traits, aspirations, and past events greatly affect their relationships with other sims.
Now they’ll actually need to be compatible if you want them to get down and dirty.
Other than that, the mod also gives cats and dogs more varied personalities, and sims can learn traits and choose careers just from having deep conversations with others. How cool!
13. Automatic Beards
Ever since I turned 14 years old, my ever-growing beard has been an important part of my life.
Every morning I decide whether or not to shave, and the choice has important ramifications on how my life plays out. The same should be true of our digital friends.
This mod makes sim beards grow automatically over time, requiring constant shaving. Unless you want your sim to become Gandalf the Grey, that is.
12. SimDa Dating App
Dating and finding partners is astoundingly easy in Sims 4 compared to real life. Which is why we needed dating apps, and they don’t – until now.
The SimDa Dating App by LittleMsSam works a lot like a streamlined version of Tinder, allowing your sims to schedule meetings, set up blind dates, or simply call somebody over for a one night stand.
Each of these interactions has its own interesting features and possibilities.
You can start relationships, have some fun… and even get someone pregnant by accident. Just like real life!
11. The Explore Mod
While there’s a lot of places to visit and activities to enjoy in The Sims 4, there’s always room for some improvement.
And more autonomy is always good.
The Explore Mod by KawaiiStacie lets your Sims go out and explore the world autonomously, either alone or with friends.
They’ll have adventures, gain skills, meet people, and maybe even change their world view!
This mod adds several entertaining activities like gambling, getting your nails done, doing temporary work for an extra buck, and even going out to get takeout if you’re too lazy to cook. All very realistic and very immersive.
10. Height Slider
One of the most frustrating and unrealistic things in the game is how every sim is exactly the same height as others of the same age group.
Well thanks to this mod by creator Luumia, you’ll be able to give your sims different heights through a slider in CAS.
Everything else will, of course, scale proportionately to height.
As a bonus, Luumia included a hip shape slider and neck length variation for even more Sim variety.
9. Extreme Violence
The world is a very violent place, and even peaceful suburban areas like see their fair share of violence from time to time.
Extreme Violence by Sacrificial Mods adds the possibility for wrongdoing sims to attack others in a wide variety of ways.
Shooting them with machine guns, cracking their necks, chopping them up with a machete, and even crushing their skulls by sitting on them are only some examples.
I mean, I guess it’s realistic?
Not only does it add the acts in themselves, but a bunch of added functionality revolving around them, like the possibility for sims to acquire the Serial Killer trait, or paying a gang to off someone your Sim doesn’t like. Yikes!
8. Meaningful Stories
Sims don’t take life too seriously, and they’re incredibly fickle.
They may be completely devastated by the death of their pet one moment, then ecstatic because they watched a good movie the next with no in-between.
This mod by Roburky reworks the mood and emotion systems to make them more nuanced and realistic.
A depressed sim will need time and help from their friends to get out of a rut, and something like a first kiss will make them feel happy like never before.
Transitions between emotions also take time, and there are transitional periods when they’re feeling a bit of everything.
7. Passionate Romance
The romance system in vanilla TS4 is pretty basic.
You can flirt, go on dates, Woohoo and get married, but it never really feels like a relationship.
Passionate Romance by Sacrificial Mods improved this greatly by adding several new interactions like snuggling, hugging romantically, taking a romantic selfie, and even grabbing each other’s butts like they used to in TS2.
6. After School Activities
Going to school has never been just about learning history or science.
It’s also about making friends, acquiring skills, and finding yourself.
With this add-on by amazing creator KawaiiStacie you can add all these things. It endeavors to flesh-out educational experiences by adding over 30 after-school programs for children and teens.
Examples include the Anime Club, the Yoga Club, band, and basketball.
Sims partaking in these activities will learn skills, make friends, gain motives, and may even apply for scholarships depending on their performance throughout their school life.
5. Wicked Whims (NSFW)
If there’s something humans never get tired of, it’s sex. We love it, and so should our Sims if we’re to have a realistic experience in-game.
Wicked Whims goes a long way to develop everything sex-related in TS4, from turning the Woohoo interaction incredibly graphic to giving female Sims a fully-functional menstrual cycle complete with mood swings, cramps, varying fertility and a need for pads and tampons.
This one goes deep.
It even introduces contagious STDs! Now if that isn’t seriously realistic, I really don’t know what is.
4. Basemental Drugs
Alcohol and other drugs have been a reality of life since time immemorial, and that’s not about to change anytime soon.
Basemental Drugs endeavors to introduce this reality of human life into TS4. It lets your sim pals acquire, consume, and sell alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, and many other mind-altering substances.
Sims engaging in these activities may become addicted, have problems with the law, get arrested, and even go to rehab… and that’s only the tip of the iceberg.
It’s not pretty, but it is the real world.
3. Basemental Gangs
If you like Basemental Drugs, the Basemental Gangs expansion is sure to pique your interest.
It fleshes out the entire drug dealing aspect of the mod, allowing you to create a criminal empire and become the leader of one of four gangs.
Again, dark but quite brutally realistic.
Risky Woohoo Mod Sims 4
You’ll have underlings, earn loads of blood money, and there’s even an entire skill system to become a better thug. It may not be wholesome, but it sure as hell is realistic.
If you’ve ever wanted a little more GTA in your Sims experience, this mod is the ultimate crossover.
2. Life’s Tragedies

As you may have realized by now, not everything is glitter and candy.
There are tragic and difficult moments in everyone’s lives. And they can arrive when you least expect them.
Life’s Tragedies by Sacrificial Mods adds a wide variety of possible tragedies that may befall your Sim or NPCs close to them. Like randomly being run over by a car, getting jumped by a homicidal maniac, or even contracting a life-threatening disease they’ll need surgery to overcome.
It may seem a bit intense, but don’t worry. You can control how often these tragedies happen, so you can either turn your Sim’s life into a horror story or just inject a tiny bit of dark realism into your game.
This will be absolutely hilarious, devastatingly upsetting, or some kind of in-between, depending what you’re looking for.
Just note the download page includes a lot of other mods from this creator, so look towards the lower part of the screen for their “Life’s Tragedies” download file. It does get updated from time-to-time so if you want the absolute newest version definitely grab it from the link above.

Easily the most comprehensive and complete realism overhaul for The Sims 4 is Slice of Life by KawaiiStacie.
It’s an extensive mod that touches almost every aspect of life in the game.
The Sims 4 Risky Woohoo Mod
Your sims get visible emotions, recurring memories of past events that’ll affect their moods, a complex fitness system, and reactions to their own appearance. Among many other things!
One of the most impressive features of the mod is giving every single sim a personality based on the Myers-Briggs 16 personalities test, which affects the way they behave and interact with other sims to a great extent.
It also adds many features we’ve already seen in previous mods such as functional alcohol, serious sickness, and a complex menstrual cycle, all in a single polished CC pack affecting every sim in your world, including NPCs.
This is truly the ultimate realism mod for The Sims 4, hands down.
If you need a one-stop shop realism mod then give this a try before anything else. You’ll be surprised how much it offers.
